Symptoms:
Often nothing, until the Chlamydia spreads.
Pain or stinging when pissing.
Discharge from penis or anus.
Inflamed and painful anus.
Sometimes affects eyes and throat.
Treatment:
2 - 3 visits to the clinic
Chlamydia can be successfully treated with the use of antibiotics.
Can cause swollen joints if left untreated.
Prevention:
Chlamydia is a germ which infects the genital area, and sometimes the eyes and throat.
Using condoms will reduce the risk of infection.
