Chlamydia
Symptoms:
- Often nothing, until the Chlamydia spreads.
- Pain or stinging when pissing.
- Discharge from penis or anus.
- Inflamed and painful anus.
- Sometimes affects eyes and throat.
Treatment: 2 - 3 visits to the clinic
- Chlamydia can be successfully treated with the use of antibiotics.
Can cause swollen joints if left untreated.
Prevention:
- Chlamydia is a germ which infects the genital area, and sometimes the eyes and throat.
- Using condoms will reduce the risk of infection.
