Pubic Lice (Crabs)

Symptoms:

  • Itching in the genital area.
  • Check for small crab-like parasites and eggs in pubic and body hair if itching is experienced.

Treatment: Only one visit to the clinic or chemist

  • Crabs can be treated with special lotions from the chemist of GUM Clinic.

WARNING!The instructions with the lotions should be followed carefully. Do not use just soap and water.

Prevention:

  • Crabs (related to head lice) can be easily passed on through close contact, not necessarily sexual.
  • Those people who have had close contact should check themselves.
Affects arse area
Does not affect eyes/mouth area
Affects genital area
