Our Services
Young People
One of the most important roles for Men's Sexual Health is working with young people who identify as lesbian or gay, or who are simply unsure about their sexuality.
This work is carried out in two ways; directly with young people and with local schools and colleges.
Working with young people
Men's Sexual Health seeks to support young gay people in coming to terms with their sexuality by providing them with information, advice and an opportunity to express themselves.
We also support 2BME the LGBT youth group based in Devizes. 2BME gives its members the opportunity to socialise with other LGBT young people in the area and become involved in fun activities and useful workshops in a non-judgemental, supportive and professionally supervised environment. Find out more at the 2BME website.
Schools
We are always happy to meet with schools in order to support or advise any teachers who are dealing with the issue of pupils' sexuality, and can help resolve some difficult situations; for example concerning bullying of a gay pupil.
We provide stalls at college health fairs promoting sexual health and sexuality awareness.
Additionally, we are happy to provide training around sexuality issues free of charge to local schools or colleges, as well as give talks directly to pupils as part of a PSE curriculum or similar.
