It sounds as though you have a sensitivity issue, that is helped by the use of condoms. Condoms, as well as being an effective form of birth control and one of the best ways to prevent transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), can sometimes also help reduce sensitivity of the penis. There are some condoms and lubricants that use small amounts of numbing agents to help decrease sensitivity and delay orgasm, such as Delay by Pasante and Performa by Durex. It may be useful for you to try these in order to delay your orgasm. We advocate safe sex at Men's Sexual Health, so advise condom use as a matter of course. For the time being, we would recommend the use of condoms for your problem, as they appear to help, and to reduce the risks associated with unprotected sex. If this becomes an ongoing issue, or causes further worry, please contact us again.

For free condoms in your area, you have a few choices. Ifyou are over 16, you can register for the c-card scheme: http://www.sandyford.org/free-condoms.aspx You can get free condoms from the Glasgow office of Terrence Higgins Trust, phone number: 01463 711 585. You can also get free condoms from your local sexual health or GUM clinic. I hope you are able to use one of these services.
