My problem is when I talk or chat with my Girlfriend, precum or water like sticky staffs come. My pants become wet. Its really embarrassing to me. I don't think about sex even while talk or chat. Then, why its happening? How can I get rid of this problem, please tell me. I'll be really greatful. Thank you.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

When a man is sexually excited, it is normal for a small amount of fluid to leak from the penis. This fluid is known as pre-ejaculate, preseminal fluid or more commonly, pre-come/precum, is different from ejaculate, which usually comes with orgasm. As this precome occurs when a man is becoming aroused, it is not normally considered a problem. Sometimes, men with prostate problems can have excessive leakage which may be considered for treatment. In your case, it sounds as though you are young and healthy, so are unlikey to be experiencing prostate issues. Most likely, what you are experiencing would be considered normal, however, the difficulty is that you state you are just talking to your girlfriend, and that it isn't sexual. It could be that on a subconcious level, your talks with her are arousing, thus triggering this kind of response for your body. Loving and affectionate talk could have a reaction similar to arousal. I am sorry I can't recommend anything to stop this from happening, but can assure you it does not seem out of the ordinary. If this is still causing you concern, please book an appointment to go see your GP who will try to help you further with this.

Leaking pre cum

I have been locked in a chastity device for the past 3 weeks, the last 3 or 4 nights I have been leaking pre cum, and sometimes during the day. During the day when it has happened I have been sitting down watching the television, Is it normal to leak.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Thanks for getting in touch. The purpose of wearing a chastity device is orgasm denial, and this is either usuallly for personal sexual gratification or relationship reasons. Being denied orgasm will mean the prostate glad in the male anus will have a build up of seminal fluid (pre-cum) and because you are not masturbating or having sex, this will start to seep out, so yes this is normal to leak.

However please be aware, it is actually more healthy to ejaculate, the purpose of masterbation and/or sex is not just for pleasure but is advised for men to keep the prostate healthy. If you are in a chastity device to deny orgasm then you may want to look into milking the prostate, this will help have an orgasm and remove the build up but won't be for sexual gratification purposes. You say it has been for 3 weeks, please be aware if using such a device you remove it frequently for periods of cleaning, as it is very important that you keep the penis clean, to prevent infection and build up of smegma.

I hope this has helped your concern, please get in touch again if needed

Thank you your reply has eased my concerns, obviously quite normal and nothing to worry about.

I clean daily using Q tips and once a week my device is fully removed to enable a complete clean of both the device and my penis.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

I don't know how effective cleaning with q-tips once a day would be, I understand you do a full clean once a week, but it would probably more advisable to remove the device once a day when in the shower or bath to clean the penis effectively.

Pre cum and losing erection

Hi, whenever I try and have sex, I generate some amount of precum, i understand its normal, but because of that I lose my erection within a minute or so and then don't get erect enough to perform intercourse. I am a 25year old male and have no other health problems. Also this doesn't happen during masturbation.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hello and thanks for getting in touch with us. There are two areas for erectile dysfunction, it is either a physiological issue or a psychological issue. As you are able to get an erection when masturbating, this shows it is not a physiological issue, just a psychological issue. What is it about pre-cum that causes you to lose your erection, as surely this also gets produced when you are masturbating. You seem to be suffering with some form of performance anxiety, you may benefit from some of sexual therapy/counselling to get over this issue. Please get in touch if you have further info/help needed.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hello and thanks for contacting us. Pre cum is a natural reaction to being sexually aroused, producing this natural lubricant. However not all men produce it, and the men that do, some will produce just a little and some will produce a lot. Try not to be worried or embarrassed by this, as I said it is perfectly natural reaction to being turned on, sexually excited. Obviously it could be difficult to know yourself if you are producing more than most me, as you prob unable to compare or feel comfortable discussing this with other men, but if you have a close male friend maybe discuss this with him and you may be surprised to hear he may too feel the same concern. Or if you feel you are producing too much, have a chat with you doctor or GP and I'm sure he can reassure you. We hope this has put your mind at ease but please get back in touch if you need to.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

I think it is bad enough that it is causing you to have to shower after this happens, you should go to your GP/Doctor to discuss this, as it should be so much that it means you need to clean yourself.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like you are describing pre-cum, not all men get this, and those that do it can vary from just a little leak to a lot, but let me reasure you this is perfectly normall. Pre-cum is a clear fluid that emits from the tip of the penis when a man is sexually aroused, and its purpose is to act as a lubricant (please be aware this can transmit STI, HIV and can contain sperm if you are not using barrier methods such as condoms to have safe sex with). In very rare cases some men over produce this, if this is the case I would discuss with you GP if possible.

Regarding the cumming very fast, this could be for various reasons, and I wouldn't say it has anything to do with your pre-cum. Many men suffer from Premature ejaculation, a recent UK survey said 10% of male population had suffered with PE at some point in their life. Another European study classed PE as lasting around 1.8 mins, and with 7.3 mins being classed as normal, would you say you fall into this first category as what you class as PE might not be PE. There are initially 4 treatments for PE - 1) Distraction method - when you are nearing climax, think about something comepletely different than whats going on. 2) Applying a delay gel to your penis, this will decrease sensitivity and hopefully improve your duration. 3) Delay condoms, this are coated with the delay gel and with the added thickness of the condom this too will help improve your duration. 4) start stop method - when alone try masterbating till u reach the point where you are going to climax but stop yourself, repeat this 3 or 4 times to build up your own self control, and then allow yourself to climax, after a few times a week doing this, you should find yourself lasting longer.

Regarding the itchy end of your penis, if you masturbate too often then yes the penis could become sore, but there could also be other reasons, it could be a reaction to soap or cleaning product you are currently using, or it could be and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), again I would recommend going to you doctor/GP and explain your concerns and get tested as most STI's can be treated.

Please get back to us if you still have any further concerns.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

You really do need to see a doctor. If you don’t, there is a serious risk of long lasting damage as well as possible infection getting into your penis or even the bloodstream. In this situation the best person to help you may well be a urological surgeon. In the UK you would normally be sent to a surgeon through a visit to your GP who can arrange this urgently if needed. If you have difficulty getting to a GP you could try the emergency department (A&E) but it may depend on whether their hospital has a urology surgeon as to whether they can help you.

You may well also need a sexual health check up: rent boys are at risk of catching more infections than most people and even though many of them have regular checks you should consider regular checks yourself if you have sex with any of them.

Penis leakage

I masterbate quite frequently but for the last three days if I do sperm never seems to stop leaking out of my penis day and night, what can I do to stop this as I know it's not normal. First I thought it was a STI so I had a test and I'm all clear plus when I do masterbate everything seems normal. Please Help?

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

It sounds as if you are experiencing something that is quite common. Depending on your age, how horny you feel and the level of your hormones, you may produce small amounts of secretions for much of the time. If you masturbate frequently (as you say) you encourage secretion production which is perfectly normal.

Most of us guys make precum in varying amounts: you are just making a bit more than most so it leaks out quite a bit. Your test confirms that you don’t need to worry about anything else. As you get older it will probably reduce and stop eventually so enjoy being young while you can!

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hello. Thank you for getting in touch with your concern. Having fluid leak from your penis when you are sexually aroused is perfectly normal. It is called pre-cum or pre-ejaculate. It is a natural lubricant that comes from the urethra (the opening at the tip of the penis). This fluid can appear at early stages of arousal, and through masturbation and sexual activity. It is colourless, clear and sticky. This penile secretion is different from ejaculate or cum, which accompanies an orgasm. From what you have told us, it seems that you find speaking with your girlfriend sexually arousing, thus, your body is having a normal sexual reaction based on your feelings. Please be assured this happens to most men, worldwide, and is not something you should worry about. We hope this information helps to put your mind at ease. Please get in touch with any further questions.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hello and thanks for contacting MSH. It sounds from what you are describing, it is pre-cum. Pre-cum is a natural lubricant the penis produces when you are sexually aroused. Some men produce a lot, some a little and some men not at all, it varies from each person. This is completely normal. However, if you have ever had unsafe sex, and by unsafe I mean without a condom with a man or woman, then it could be possible that this discharge is an STI, sexually transmitted infection. If you have ever had unsafe sex, we would recommend you go to your nearest sexual health clinic and get a full screening. The doctors will then be able to give you the correct treatment if you have picked anything up. Please let us know if we can offer any further advice or support.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hello and thank you for contacting Men's Sexual Health. From what you have described, it does sound like you have a Sexually Transmitted Infection. For example Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are to STI's that can cause discharge (this dirty drops of water you talk about), although it may be another STI. You need to go to your nearest Sexual Health Clinic, GUM clinic or Doctor/GP so they can examine and prescribe the right course of medicine. Please do not be afraid to do this, as it will not clear up without medication, the discharge may go and you may think you are healed, but this is not possible, signs and symptoms can come and go with STI's, and sometimes you can be infected and no have any signs or symptoms. You need to get medicine so that you will not pass it on to anyone else. Until you have got treated, please refrain from having sex with anyone else or you risk passing it on before you are clear of the STI. If you live in Swindon we can make an appointment for you, so please get back in touch. Please let us know if you need any further advice or support.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hello and thanks for getting in contact with MSH. First of all, there is nothing wrong with Masturbation, it is perfectly normal and in fact it is healthy, and nearly all men around the world do it. The fact that you have stopped masturbating could possibly be the reason why you are leaking, as it may not be urine, it may be a build up of sperm/pre cum due to the fact you are not expelling it from your body through masturbation, that is one possibility. The other is that the two issues are not related and that you are in fact leaking urine, and the fact its bad enough that you need to take a bath means we would advice you seek professional medical help as soon as possible with your own Doctor/GP so they can diagnose what is really causing this issue. We hope this has helped.

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

Hi thanks for contacting us. Regarding your leaking penis, there could be a couple of explanations, the fact it is sticky, it could just be a small release of pre-cum. But also have you ever had unprotected sex, that means sex without using a condom, as there could be a chance you are describing a discharge which is caused by an sexually transmitted infection (STI) such a chlamydia, if you have had unprotected sex then visit your local GP/GUM clinic and get tested and they will give your medicine to clear this infection up. Regarding your masturbation and body building, it is extreamly unlikely this is effecting your week fealing. Maybe you are over doing it at the gym, are you eating a varied and balanced diet to give you the energy you need to be a body builder as it is extreamly important to be getting the right combination of vitamins, minerals, carbs etc. Consult your doctor about your week/tired feeling you may find you have an underlying issue that needs medical attention. We hope this has helped with your concern, please get back in touch if we can be of further help

Response from Men's Sexual Health:

You haven’t really told us enough to be able to help, I’m afraid. A couple of general comments:

If you have had anal sex it is a good idea to get a check from your local GUM clinic. Although it won’t be actual sperm, your feeling "like drops of sperm" from the anus could be a discharge from an infection. (We probably don’t need to remind you that it really isn’t a great idea to fuck or be fucked in the anus without a condom because of the risk of HIV and other infections.)

On the other hand if you haven’t had any anal sex the problem is more likely to be something completely different and we suggest you see your own GP for a check.
