Hi, thank you for contacting MSH with your concern. We have so many men asking about the same issue as the one you have brought to our Question & Answer board. Here is some advice we have offered in the past, but please have a look through all of our questions; the information may vary slightly, but also , you will see that you are not alone.

You can try masturbating an hour or two before having sex. If you come once, you should be able to put off orgasm for longer.

Try using a thick condom to help decrease sensation or using a condom or lubricant with a numbing agent to help delay orgasm.

Try taking a deep breath to briefly shut down the ejaculatory reflex (an automatic reflex of the body during which ejaculation occurs).

Have sex with your partner on top (to allow them to pull away when you are close to ejaculating, and they are in control of the movements and momentum).

Try taking breaks during sex and thinking about something boring, especially if you are close to orgasm.

There is also a grip that was developed by sex experts Masters and Johnson. It takes sonme training, but can be quite successful:

At each training session, your partner places her hand so that her thumb is on one side of the man's erect penis (the nearer side to her when she is facing him).

Her index and middle fingers are on the other side.

The index finger is just above the ridge of the glans (the 'head'), while the middle finger is just below the ridge.

When the man feels that he's near to a climax, he tells his partner.

She then squeezes his shaft firmly between her thumb and the other two fingers. (Don't worry: it's painless!)

This can also work with male couples as well as heterosexual ones.
