Hello and thanks for contacting us. Masturbation is perfectly natural, in fact it is healthy, and nearly all men do it. Some men masturbate a lot, some very little. The problem lies if it is affecting your life in a negative way. Is it all you think about, has it affected relationships. I ask as you use the term addiction. If you are finding this is having negative impact on your life, early steps to help with this, would be to abstain from masturbating for a while or reduce the amount of times you do it, avoid watching pornography if you do use porn. Find other ways to spend your free time, see friends, take up a hobby, keep busy in times when you would normally find yourself resulting in masturbation. If none of these first steps help and you find it really is taking over you life then seeing a sexual therapist/counsellor may be beneficial to you. But as I said in the start, if you are doing it daily and its not getting in the way of your life, then it is perfectly normal and healthy. We hope this has helped with your concern.
