It sounds as if you are describing “premature ejaculation”. It is quite a common condition and although it can be embarrassing it is not harmful. Normally it only affects younger men, often without much experience, and settling as you get older and more confident. If you are hoping to have sex with a partner it can be helpful to masturbate in advance – this usually produces a period during which you do not have an orgasm for a little while, so that when you start sexual contact it is not immediately releasedand getting to a climax takes longer. You can also postpone a climax by squeezing your penis just below the head, until your arousal settles a little. Treatment is available from specialists and if you are keen to get help ask your doctor for a referral.
