I have been worried about this for a long time, I have a large amount of spots on the base of my penis but the amount of spots decreases the higher up my penis they go. I also have a few spots at the base of my penis' head I don't know if I should be concerned about this or not? I also seem to have a residue that remains on my bellend after masturbation is this due to not cleaning up properly?

Without seeing your spots it is difficult to be sure. You say that your spots have been present for a long time, which probably means they are not something serious, but if you are worried ask your doctor to check them. However all of us have small glands in the skin which produce the natural skin oils. These are often quite prominent on the penis – they can look a bit like the “whiteheads” that you can see on the face of someone who has acne. Occasionally they can get inflamed like acne and produce a red spot with a little pus. If this is what you have, they are normal and harmless. The other kind of spot that is very common is a little ring of tiny white spots just below the head of the penis – called pearly penile papules – which are also normal and harmless.
Everyone should gently wash there cock and bell end each day, especially under the foreskin.
