Penis not getting a full erection
I am 21 and been single ever since. I met this girl on the social networks, and after confirming when and where we gonna meet, I was not interested in watching porn, and my I couldnt get an erection. I normally watched porn and get an erection easily but It was too boring and didnt make my penis hard like before. So when i met her the first time we kissed a lot and my penis got an erection sometimes. Then we decided to have sex (it was my first time). My penis was up, and could could not keep the erection. It inserted my penis on her vigina but it just went num. We tried kissing and it got up but not hard. We also tried different positions in having sex but I could not get my penis very hard. I really like this girl a lot. Could u please assist in any way u could. Thanks

Hello and thank you for contacting MSH. I think due to the fact that this was your first time and that you like this girl a lot, nerves got the better of you. And when you are nervous this can dramatically effect your ability to get or maintain an erection. The fact that you can get hard when watching porn shows that you are not suffering from any physical issues to cause this, but that it is more psychological. Building up trust with this person, talking through your nerves, taking time and exploring each others bodies will help reduce your nerves and hopefully improve your erection, the more you worry about not getting and keeping an erection the more likely this will happen again. Also if you are having sex for the first time, with a new partner, please ensure you have the right contraception to hand, find a suitable condom that fits you, this will prevent the girl becoming pregnant and greatly reduce the risk of passing on a sexually transmitted infection STI.
