I am 21 and when I get an erection my penis is hard but does not raise very high. If i tense it I can get it to raise to a level parallel with the floor but it doesn't stay there for long. Also with an erection it is loose at the base so I can move it around a lot. As far as I am aware I have had no physical trauma and there is no pain. And as far as I can remember it has always been like this

Abit extra information: if pointing straight down to the floor was 0% and parallel with the floor was 50% it gets to about 30% and has a slight bend or droopy towards the end. Making it look like it is lazy.

Hello and thanks for contacting MSH. The male penis comes in all shapes and sizes, and this is the same when having an erection. Some men will have a penis that will curve up and point to the sky and straight in line with there belly button, some will curve to the left, some to the right. Some men will have an erection that points straight out, and that could curve a bit to the left or right, and some men like you will have a penis that curves down and possibly to one side. So we are all different and sex shouldnt be a problem depending on what time of erection you get, there will be some positions that may be more comfortable than others and thats for you and your partner to find over time. But I wouldn't stress too much about it, so long as you can get hard and ejaculate then you have a perfectly working penis.
